Words: Rebecca Thienes

Still sizzling, this year’s National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), which was co-located with the National Association of Home Builders International Builders’ Show (IBS), took place in Las Vegas from February 27-29 with 450,000 net square feet of exhibits and over 600 exhibitors. Similar to last year, the show celebrates all things related to kitchen and bath design. Yet, this year’s edition was a little different, as it marked the 60th anniversary of the industry trade show since it was founded in 1964. Here, we dive into our favorite products (and even an extra from IBS) that we saw on the KBIS 2024 show floor.

Kallista, the maker of luxury designer faucets and fixtures, offers their One sink faucet in polished nickel with alluring FP5 decorative handles in Barbie-approved pink, which was seen at KBIS 2024.

An attractive and useful tool for home chefs, Foltile’s Moonshadow 30” tri-ring gas cooktop features a sleek matte anti-glare glass finish plus a dedicated wok ring.

NYC-based interior designer Michelle Gerson teams with revered tile brand Artistic Tile for a waterjet stone mosaic crafted entirely in-house in Secaucus, New Jersey. Her Game On customizable collection includes four patterns: Spot-On, Slide, Zip, and Stix.

From the UK-based manufacturer Kast Concrete Basins, which was acquired by Kohler in 2023, the Wave collection of undulating concrete sinks comes in three styles—Tilde, Prim, and Dune—inspired by Italian Radicalism and Postmodernism and showcasing new energizing hues like Brick and Sandcastle.

German domestic appliance brand Miele continues its induction expansion with its KM7000 cooktop series. The frameless cooktops are sleek and energy-efficient, offering innovations like the PowerFlex expandable cooking surface, safety features like auto-off and pan detection, and a handy keep-warm option.

Los Angeles-based interior designer Claudia Afshar teamed with surface brand Cosentino to produce her Dekton Ukiyo collection of ready-to-install fluted tiles. Said the designer, “Ukiyo is calming yet simplistic, and the colorways and fluting are romantic, but also contemporary and masculine to achieve balance.”

Bubbling and festive, the Missouri-based manufacturer True Residential chose Champagne as their 2024 Color of the Year, and the pearlescent and glossy hue calls for a celebration, which was seen at KBIS 2024.

Luxury fittings brand Brizo, known for past collabs with fashion designer Jason Wu, now merges Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics for their Kintsu kitchen collection. An elevated pull-down faucet comes in a quietly-elegant Black Onyx finish as well as alternate options like Luxe Gold, chrome, stainless, polished chrome, as well as their latest offering: matte black.

Personalization comes to appliances with the JennAir’s limited-edition Italian leather panels for column refrigeration. Previewed at KBIS 2024, only 30 units will be produced and are available through February 2025. They feature unique interiors in Obsidian Black.

Surface brand Caesarstone launched its One-of-a-Kind collection quartz collection in seven colorways, including Calacatta Scoria distinguished by its graphic black and white statement veining.

Jaunty countertop appliances including a toaster and espresso maker plus SMEG’s noted FAB5 refrigerator don a fashion-forward blue and white maiolica print dubbed Blu Mediterraneo by Italian label Dolce&Gabbana.

Decorative hardware manufacturer Emtek’s Select collection expands to include a high-end green marble finish that can mix and match with various stem designs and rosette options.

Meanwhile at IBS, Connecticut-based Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens offered a preview of CUBE, a design by Luca Nichetto of Nichetto Studio, that features strong lines and bold shapes for outdoor cooking.

Top Product Picks from the 2024 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
